Uncontested Divorce in Ontario

Comparable fees as the other online companies, but working with and a consult with a real lawyer.

Our Process

Straightforward, Cost-Conscious, and Worry-Free

Our uncontested divorce service for Ontario residents is built to simplify your divorce with a single, all-inclusive package managed by experienced lawyers. Follow these clear steps, and we’ll handle the rest to get you to a finalized divorce.

Step 1: Clerk Call and Retainer Agreement

A law clerk will call you to:

  • Discuss your case details and confirm next steps.

  • Arrange secure payment for our all-inclusive service (via Credit Card or PayPal), covering lawyer-drafted documents, court filing, and all court communications.

  • Guide you through signing a limited scope retainer agreement to formalize our services. The retainer requested will be $2000 to cover the court filing fee of $669.00 and the process server fees.

  • Have questions? Reach out via our secure client portal, email, live chat, or schedule a call.

Step 2: Complete Our Secure Online Form

Start the process by filling out our secure online questionnaire.

  • Provide basic information about yourself, your spouse, and your marriage.

  • Submit the form to initiate your case—no upfront payment required at this stage.

Step 3: Documents Drafted by Lawyers

Our team of skilled Ontario lawyers carefully drafts all required court documents based on the information you provided.

  • Each document is customized to meet Ontario’s rigorous court standards.

  • Your document package will be ready for review in approximately one week.

Step 4: Sign with Lawyer Guidance

Attend one meeting with a lawyer to:

  • Review and sign your divorce documents.

  • Receive legal advice to ensure you understand the process.

Step 5: We File and Finalize

After you return the signed documents:

  • We submit them to the Ontario court, using e-filing where available, and manage all court interactions.

  • We’ll invoice you separately for the mandatory court filing fee before submission.

  • Court Processing: The court reviews your application, with processing times varying based on Ontario court schedules (typically 3–6 months; see our FAQ for details).

  • Divorce Complete: We track your case and notify you when your Divorce Order is granted and takes effect (31 days after approval).
